Footwear News announces the launch of Zee Alexis Footwear for Spring 2015...

CC Resorts, based in Plainview, N.Y., is putting a fresh spin on the popular woven elastic trend for spring ’15, with launch of comfort brand Zee Alexis. Leading the creative team is industry veteran Roxanne Ehrenberg, named to the post of VP of design.

“I wanted to do [the material] in a more fashionable and sophisticated way,” said Ehrenberg about the dual-gender offering that incorporates colorful woven elastic into modern athletic-inspired looks for him and her, as well as women’s wedges, pumps and sandals. “It’s one of the coolest materials to work with, and I thought, what else can we do with it?”
